MJ founded Activate Wealth in 2024 after more than fifteen years working in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments across Canada and the United States. Originally trained as an engineer at McGill University, MJ began his career leading engineering projects and product strategy, earning his Professional Engineering designation before making an intentional shift into wealth management in 2019.
“I realized I wanted to spend less time managing projects and more time helping people navigate the decisions that shape their lives,” he says. “Building wealth in today's complex economic climate requires more than just a financial plan. It requires a trusted partner who understands both strategy and your family's vision.”
Since entering the profession, MJ has trained under experienced advisors and earned his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. Today, he works with high-performing professionals, entrepreneurs, and families, helping them align their financial decisions with the lives they're trying to build.

Licensed through CIRO in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Québec, MJ believes that financial stewardship extends far beyond investment performance.

Outside the office, MJ and his wife Sarah—his partner in life and business—are passionate about pouring into businesses, families, and communities through lasting relationships.
